Job Description

About the Role - We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content & Social Media Specialist with 5–7 years of experience in short-form and long form content. The role requires a balance of strong storytelling, platformspecific expertise, and the ability to use content tools and data insights to drive engagement, visibility, and growth with an organic-first approach.
This is a remote-first role, so the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in a virtual setup is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management
  • Create, manage, and publish engaging short-form and organic long-form content for social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Develop high-quality, SEO-friendly long-form content such as blogs, website copy, and thought leadership articles.
  • Repurpose content into multiple formats (social posts, infographics, newsletters, case studies).
Social Media & Publishing
  • Manage publishing calendars across key social channels.
  • Monitor trends and adapt content to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Upload and manage website/blog content on WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Data & Optimization
  • Use Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, and other SEO tools to track performance and identify content opportunities.
  • Apply keyword research and on-page SEO practices for improved visibility.
  • Review performance metrics and use data to refine content strategies.
Collaboration
  • Work with design, SEO, and campaign teams to deliver integrated marketing content.
  • Support editorial calendar planning and ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct competitor/industry research to keep content relevant and fresh.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience in content writing and social media management.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for both short- and long-form formats.
  • Proven experience with WordPress or similar CMS.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic data insights to improve content performance.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand tone consistency.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Canva or working alongside design teams.
  • Understanding of AI-driven content tools.
  • Knowledge of reporting frameworks and content marketing KPIs.
  • Comfort with SEO and content performance tools (Search Console, Keyword Planner, analytics dashboards).
