Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Manager for its Istanbul office.


MAIN TASKS:

The successful candidate will join a specialized team operating within credit risk modelling and advisory projects for financial intermediaries. The selected person will lead activities in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:

  • Development and implementation of risk parameter estimation (PD, LGD, EAD), satellite and ECL (IFRS 9) models
  • Development and implementation of Economic Capital (Credit VaR) models and stress testing
  • Model validation
  • Credit risk advisory
  • Credit Process Optimization and Risk Based Pricing
  • Early Warning and Collection Models
  • ICAAP and Stress Testing
  • CRM Analytics
  • ALM Behavioral Models
  • Advanced Analytics


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management in Banking sector or consultancy firms and a proven experience in managing teams and staff with diverse backgrounds
  • A degree or master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics or Engineering coupled with sound quantitative knowledge is required
  • Practical application of statistical modelling techniques
  • Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills e.g. excel, word, power point and access
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to capital management (e.g. Basel III) and IFRS9 is a distinctive factor


SOFT SKILLS:

  • Commercial and innovative mindset
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English is a must
  • Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
  • Assertivity and excellent communication, in multi-national and multi-discipline environment, presentation and inter-personal skills
  • Project/time management skills as well as ability to meet required deadlines
  • Self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take initiative
