Job Purpose:

The purpose of the position is to develop, oversee, execute and coordinate the international cruise business operations related activities in the Egypt Cruise Ports; performs all task related to the elaborations the development, the implementation and the coordination of the Cruise Business Planning Operations. To develop, recommend and coordinate related activities of process and procedures within the operation and coordination with relevant external and internal stakeholders.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Managing smooth operations of the Cruise Business in the Egypt Cruise Ports.
  • Execute and implement the strategic directions of the Cruise Company.
  • Create the Cruise Quality management systems executions in terms of SOPs, Ops metrics, Audits, including all related matters.
  • Perform the operational Performance reporting of cruise assets in Egypt Cruise Ports, in relation to established key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform all related cruise Crisis and Business Continuity management systems (BCMs) according to AD Ports Cruise BCMs policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Perform all related cruise HSE management in the Egypt Cruise Ports according to AD Ports defined standards.
  • Coordinate and implement stakeholder’s engagement tactics for the cruise business activities with relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Prepare and review reports and records of activities to ensure that progress is being made towards specific program/assignments objectives as per the identified systems in Cruise Company.
  • Drafting Letters, reports and presentations preparation internally and externally.
  • Oversee and supervise any cruise related development projects in the destination with timely reporting.
  • Oversee and coordinate procurement and materials supply in the Egypt Cruise Ports.
  • Oversee and coordinate finance related matters such as accurate and timely Invoicing issuance.
  • Oversee and coordinate Leasing agreements drafting and finalizing according to the defined related processes.
  • Coordinate and implement cruise business activities with relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Contribute to special projects teams such as designing and constructing projects with overall related stakeholders.
  • Responsible for handling complaints and suggestions pertaining to cruise business in the assigned destination.
  • Perform market research with relevant business requirements wherever required.
  • Responsible for handling inquiries and requirements of ship agents, tour operators and various Government Departments.
  • Support in surveys about customer satisfaction, Economic Impact and compile seasonal and annual reports for management.
  • Support in annual financial reporting and budgeting preparation exercises for the Egypt Cruise Ports.
  • Working closely with relevant staff to ensure that all required tasks are completed and closed.
  • Producing innovative written materials relevant to Cruise business and development facility functions.

  • Build and maintain successful relationships with relevant external stakeholders.
  • Oversee workflows for related databases, manage partner communications and resolve escalated issues or questions from external entities.
  • Taking a proactive approach in inspiring and innovative culture of process improvement to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Support in Annual budget planning and preparation.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public relations or relevant field such as languages, marketing, & etc.
  • Excellent English and Arabic (written, spoken & understanding), any additional language is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cruise business operations or related roles.
  • Knowledge of passenger processes or flow on the facilities / port agent / DMC requirements.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with international regulations and compliance requirements for cruise Business.
  • Comprehensive analytical thinking skills.
  • Creative skills and experience in producing innovative written materials.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
  • Highly accurate and well-organized with good time management skills.
  • Proactive can-do attitude, high energy and the ability to work within a team.
