Job Purpose:
To oversee the international cruise business operations related activities in the Egypt Cruise Ports; perform all tasks related to the development, implementation and coordination of the Cruise Business Planning Operations. Provide guidance and recommendation on the development, and coordination of related activities processes and procedures within the operation including coordination with relevant external and internal stakeholders under the supervision of Cruise Co. The work contributes to the achievement of the Cruise Co. goals, exemplified by the research, and public outreach programs of the organization in general which elevate the expectation of cruise tourism within Egypt.
Core Responsibilities:

Support in establishing cruise business tariff in Egypt Ports including support in build-up of cruise business incentive programs and commercial agreement negotiations.

Support in developing cruise business opportunities to increase cruise revenue share and maximize the capacity utilization at the Egypt Cruise Ports.

Recommend enhancement plans and continuous business upgrade solutions aiming to establish a process within the Cruise Co. Level.

Supervise cruise related development projects, enforce smooth operations and evaluate cruise HSE management in the designated destination according to AD Ports Group defined standards.

Provide guidance in the development and monitoring of cruise related quality assurance, excellence elements and operational performance reporting in relation to the established key performance indicators (KPIs).

Supervise all related cruise Crisis and Business Continuity management systems (BCMs) according to AD Ports Group Cruise BCMs policies, procedures and regulations.

Provide guidance to develop customer satisfaction surveys, support in resolving complaints, and evaluate suggestions pertaining to cruise business in the assigned destination to attract new business and create value from the existing facilities.

Oversee the management of cruise vessel planning activities prior arriving to the terminal and provide directions to ensure meeting the productivity and efficiency standards.

Supervise and provide guidance on the management of report review and delivery, the recording of activities and presentations reflecting the progress to make sure that it is being made towards specific cruise business related activities/objectives.

Provide guidance on the management of procurement and materials supply, finance related matters (i.e. Invoicing issuance), and leasing agreements in the designated destination.

Supervise market research with relevant industries and evaluate updates on Cruise Business tariff based on the collected and analyzed benchmark data.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies and industry partners.

Manage inquiries and requirements received from ship agents, tour operators and Government Departments.
People Management Responsibilities:

Manage the performance of direct reports, leadership, supervision, guidance and recognize achievements.

Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members, as well as with other departments and external partners.

Work closely with relevant staff to ensure that all required tasks are being solved and closed.

Identify skill gaps and training requirements for the teams to ensure consistent high performance.

Build and maintain successful relationships with relevant external stakeholders to implement cruise activities.

Oversee workflows for related databases, manages partner communications and resolves escalated issues or questions from external entities.

Taking a proactive approach in inspiring and innovative culture of process improvement to enhance workflow and efficiency.

Support in annual budgeting preparation exercises in the assigned designation.
Skills & Knowledge:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
-
Excellent in English and Arabic (written, spoken & understanding).
-
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
-
Relevant working experience in related industries such as ports, tourism, leisure and cruise business.

Knowledge in the passenger process or flow on the facilities / port agent / DMC requirements.
-
Comprehensive analytical thinking skills & communication skills.

Creative skills and experience in producing innovative written material.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other software.

Ability to manage own workload and work under pressure.
-
Highly accurate and well-organized with good time management skills.
-
Positive, proactive can-do attitude, high energy and the ability to work within a team.
