JOB TITLE

Manager, Decoration | MAF Retail | Head Office Egypt

ROLE SUMMARY

The Decoration Manager oversees decoration across all stores in the Cairo area, leading the decoration team, ensuring all decoration aligns with internal guidelines to uphold the Majid Al Futtaim Retail brand image, and focusing on attracting customers to support sales growth and overall store profitability.

ROLE PROFILE

• Oversee store decoration execution, ensuring proper use of equipment and high-quality signage and visual communication.
• Manage the decoration and inking budget while driving cost efficiencies and maintaining adequate decoration supplies.
• Coordinate with management on advertising plans and communication rules, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Monitor market trends and recommend improvements to decoration guidelines and standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and security measures, conducting regular inspections and addressing issues promptly.
• Ensure timely and consistent implementation of seasonal changes, events, and promotional or permanent in-store communication.
• Foster strong communication with merchandising teams and evaluate contractor performance for continuous improvement.
• Support performance management, training, mentorship, and manpower planning to develop and strengthen the decoration team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is preferred.
• 5+ years in the retail industry, 3+ year experience in decoration/design/interior business.
• Planning across the different Stores ensuring all stores have sufficient stocks of materials, without overstocking.
• Design amends to be allow for agility across formats whilst staying within guidelines.
• Communication and presentation skills.
• w Customer service orientation.
