
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees to promote EHS awareness and best practices.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Collaborate with operational teams and engineering to integrate EHS considerations into daily activities and decision-making processes, as well as in site and process design.
- Maintain records and documentation related to EHS initiatives, incidents, and compliance.
- Report mandatory EHS performance to authorities.
- Stay updated on industry-specific regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's practices remain compliant.
- Liaise with external agencies, authorities, and stakeholders on EHS matters.
- Monitor waste management and environmental practices to ensure sustainable operations.
- Provide reports and updates to senior management on the company's EHS performance and initiatives.
- Legal compliance of operations and permitting for operational changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of Experience in Health & Safety, preferably within Food and Beverage Manufacturing.
- Understanding of Lean six Sigma, and Food safety knowledge.
- Excellent command English language.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Effective Communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
