Overview:
This position will act as tax SME for PGCS India Business.The position will champion strong growth through key strategic initiatives and partnership with PGCS cross functional and Sector teams.
Responsibilities:
Accountability:

Lead the controls, taxation & importation relating to the construction of new concentrate manufacturing plant.

Work closely with cross functional teams & provide guidance on treatment of taxation, compliance & incentives and support in the resolution of queries.

Undertake lead role in all local GST and tax requirements ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Lead role in custom trade inputs of BCP workstreams, through engagement with supply chain and operations functional leads.
- Liaise with Singapore and Cork finance on intercompany branch entries, lead discussion on any intercompany profit eliminations.

Ensure all aspects of GCS (Global Control Standards) are adhered to throughout the process.

Work with Process Owners in preparation of Process Flows and Identify Risks for new processes or changed processes, for remediation plan for failed controls , impart GCS training

Arrange reviews with Plant Leadership Teams on GCS quarterly results.
Qualifications:
Key Skills/Experience Required
- Chartered accountant qualification and Degree with a Business or accounting with 6 years+ PQE (ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment).

Strong track record of taxation & control environment

Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation are key to success in this role for balancing business needs while maintaining strong controls.

Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Strong technical accounting knowledge is a must.

Driven to deliver productivity, and process improvements while continuing to apply strategic perspective.

Experience in leading project teams from a planning and team leadership perspective, including a demonstrated ability of setting the agenda.
