Manager - Finance (Accounts & Payable)

POSITION: DY. MANAGER/MANAGER – FINANCE (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)

Location:

· Corporate Office, Technopark, Trivandrum

Qualifications:

· CA/CMA, CA/CMA (Inter), MBA - Finance (Regular course from a reputed institute)

· Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounts payable, with atleast 3 years in a leadership role.

· Proven experience in managing loan arrangements and relationships with banks and financial institutions.

· Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, specifically in the payables module.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.

· High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.

· Experience in process improvement and automation within accounts payable.

· Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Treasury) is a plus.

Expectations:

The Accounts Payable Head is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. In addition, the role involves managing loan arrangements from banks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, extensive experience in managing payables, a good understanding of banking operations, and expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the payables module.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable Management:

o Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

o Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, three-way matching and approval workflows.

o Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers, maintaining good relationships and negotiating favourable terms.

o Monitor and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable transactions.

2. Loan Arrangements and Banking:

o Manage the process of arranging loans from banks and financial institutions, including preparation of required documentation and negotiation of terms.

o Liaise with banks and financial institutions to ensure optimal loan structures and cost-effective borrowing.

o Oversee the maintenance of banking relationships and ensure compliance with loan covenants and other financial agreements.

3. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

o Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and process improvements.

o Prepare and present accounts payable reports, aging analysis, and cash flow forecasts to senior management.

o Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing of accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals.

4. SAP S/4HANA Expertise:

o Utilize SAP S/4HANA to manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and efficient use of the system.

o Work closely with IT and finance teams to optimize SAP S/4HANA functionalities and implement process improvements.

o Train and support the accounts payable team in the use of SAP S/4HANA.

5. Compliance and Internal Controls:

o Develop and maintain internal controls related to accounts payable to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

o Lead internal and external audits of accounts payable and coordinate responses to audit findings.

6. Team Leadership and Development:

o Mentor and develop the accounts payable team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

o Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
