JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a fast-growing Dubai-based real estate developer, seeks an experienced Manager – Finance & Accounts for their Karachi office. This strategic role oversees financial operations for projects in both Dubai and Karachi, ensuring cross-border integration, compliance, and robust fiscal management across two distinct real estate markets.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in finance and accounting, including 5+ years in leadership within real estate development or capital projects. Expertise in UAE and Pakistan financial frameworks, real estate investment structuring, joint ventures, financial planning & analysis, IFRS, VAT, and corporate taxation is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the finance and accounting operations from the Karachi office, ensuring comprehensive support for both Karachi & Dubai-based projects.
• Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations for both UAE and Pakistan entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multi-jurisdictional real estate portfolios.
• Develop and implement tailored financial strategies for capital-intensive real estate developments in Dubai and Karachi, aligned with local regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
• Drive project feasibility studies, financial modeling, and scenario analysis for high-value land acquisitions, development projects, and JV structures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax (UAE & Pakistan), and local reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies in both jurisdictions to maintain full financial compliance and mitigate risks.
• Manage treasury operations including cash flow planning, working capital optimization, currency risk, and fund repatriation strategies between Pakistan and UAE.
• Monitor and analyze project-level financial performance and cost variances across development phases in both markets.
• Establish and maintain internal financial controls, risk management practices, and governance protocols in line with group policies and local legal frameworks.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Work closely with UAE-based legal, commercial, and project delivery teams to support structuring and execution of real estate transactions.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, offering insights to optimize capital deployment and financial structuring across borders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualified – Mandatory.
• Additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) will be a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in managing full spectrum of accounts and finance, with at least 5 to 7 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in real estate and property development sectors, or capital project environments.
• Proven track record supporting or managing financial operations across international borders, particularly between Pakistan and the UAE.
• Familiarity with Dubai-based regulatory bodies such as RERA, DLD, and UAE corporate tax laws is highly advantageous.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

• Advanced financial modeling, investment analysis, and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, MS-Dynamics or Oracle.
• Strong command of Excel, including pivot tables, financial dashboards, and data visualization.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:

• Strategic mindset with the ability to drive financial decision-making and business planning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with diverse, multicultural teams.
• High level of integrity, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced, capital-intensive environments.
