To lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to support strategic planning and decision-making. This role provides insights into business performance, manages financial models, identifies potential opportunities and risks to drive profitability and efficiency.

Main Accountabilities:

Actively seeks methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance. This can mean taking a more active role in the day-to-day work within the project lifecycle or identifying cost-saving opportunities at the organizational level

Utilizing new tools (i.e. ERP, EPM…etc) to develop quality and accuracy of periodic financial reporting in addition to future planning

Working closely with Projects’ managers and recurring segment heads on profitability analysis and various financial indicators; proposing action plans that help improve company’s overall profitability and utilization of assets

Good understanding of IFRS to ensure company’s financials are adequately reported

Develops, presents, and oversees financial budgets on quarterly and annual basis in addition to 5-year plans.

Working closely with project managers, department heads set budget goals and ensure they’re followed, including tracking results and comparing them to key financial targets.

Support FP&A director in various system automation projects

Preparing Post evaluation for recent investments to study learnings that helps future investments

Working closely with Project managers or department heads in evaluating any new initiative, quantifying is financial impact on company and providing recommendation for decision makers.

Preparing PowerPoint presentations required during LT meetings

Operates within a dynamic and performance-driven environment that requires continuous analysis, forecasting accuracy, and collaboration with multiple business units to support corporate objectives and decision-making
Communications & Working Relationships

Reports to Director, Financial Planning and Analysis.

Employed under a one-year contract and will be renewable for a comparable period unless either party notifies.

Works closely With Finance, Treasury, Accounting, and Project Development teams.

Collaborate with internal departments such as Procurement, Development, Sales, and Human Resources to ensure alignment between financial performance, operational planning, and strategic objectives.

Engages with senior management and external auditors when required to support reporting and compliance activities.
Framework, Boundaries & Decision-Making Responsibility

Operates under the supervision and direction of the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis.

Has limited decision-making authority within approved budgets, policies, and financial reporting frameworks.

Expected to provide analytical recommendations and financial insights to support strategic business decisions while ensuring compliance with Kinan’s financial governance standards.

Required Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting preferably within the real estate, investment, or development sectors.

Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

SOCPA certification is a must.

Required Languages & Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) .

Experience with high level ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Yardi, etc.)
