The Manager of Training Systems is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of global training programs across the organization. This role oversees the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensures alignment of training initiatives with business goals, and drives the creation and deployment of high-impact training content. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with a passion for learning, digital enablement, and operational excellence.
Role Responsibilities
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
- Serve as the global administrator for the LMS, ensuring optimal configuration, performance, and user experience.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and system integrations with HRIS and other platforms.
- Monitor system usage, generate reports, and analyze data to inform training effectiveness and compliance.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution
- Training Content Development
- Lead the design, update, and management of training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and videos.
- Ensure content is aligned with adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and company branding.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex concepts into effective learning experiences.
Global Training Program Ownership
- Establish and maintain global policies and procedures for Training.
- Design and implement scalable training strategies that support global business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training gaps and develop solutions.
- Establish governance and standards for training delivery, tracking, and evaluation.
- Establish and oversee a standardized global training schedule to ensure consistent learning across all sites.
Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, HR, EHS and Quality teams to support organizational learning goals.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, innovation, and performance metrics.
- Support global inspection readiness activities and provide SME support during regulatory inspections for areas within scope.
- Ensure system compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and other applicable regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in training systems management, instructional design, or corporate learning.
- Proven experience administering LMS platforms (Veeva preferred).
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a global, cross-
- Certified training system administrator with Veeva or equivalent
- Experienced in regulatory inspections and interactions with agencies such as FDA, EMA, MHRA, etc.
