What’s On Your Plate?
Inventory Governance & Control
Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions across warehouse management systems and financial systems.
Own inventory reconciliation between General Ledger and Sub-Ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and timely month-end close.
Monitor inventory accuracy across all owned warehouses, stores, and 3PL locations.
Shrinkage, Expiry & Risk Management
Lead shrinkage, expiry, and damage analysis across warehouses and stores, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
Review and challenge inventory adjustments and loss claims, particularly those originating from 3PL operations.
Proactively identify inventory risks and escalate issues that may impact financial results or operational continuity.
Warehouse & 3PL Oversight
Govern inventory-related SLAs with 3PL partners, including reconciliation accuracy, adjustment turnaround time, and shrinkage thresholds.
Ensure standardized inventory SOPs and controls are applied consistently across owned and 3PL warehouses.
Act as the main escalation point for inventory disputes involving Operations, Finance, and 3PL partners.
Inventory Systems & Process Excellence
Own end-to-end inventory system processes, including system enhancements, UAT sign-off, pilot execution, full rollout, and post-implementation reviews.
Ensure master data integrity (UOM, costs, expiry parameters, FEFO logic) across systems.
Support inventory-related system issues and act as a functional help desk for internal stakeholders.
Stock Counts & Accuracy Programs
Plan and oversee wall-to-wall stock takes and cycle count programs across warehouses and stores in line with approved schedules.
Validate stock count results, ensure timely adjustments, and drive post-count corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inventory Controllers, setting clear KPIs and accountability.
Coordinate closely with Store Operations, Warehouse teams, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial stakeholders.
Provide clear inventory performance reporting and insights to senior management.

What Did We Order?
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5–7+ years of inventory control or supply chain experience, with multi-warehouse operations exposure.
Proven experience managing teams and working with 3PL partners.
Strong understanding of inventory accounting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
Experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or quick-commerce environments is highly preferred.
