Manager Access Network & Power Expansions and inventory Management

Job Purpose:

A Manager for Access Network, Power Expansions, D&R and Inventory Management to oversees the planning, implementation and deployment of RAN (Radio Access Network), site power infrastructure (generators/batteries) related projects and equipment inventory.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: End-to-end project management of site RAN & Power expansions, Dismantling and relocation assignments ensuring network uptime, and optimizing inventory to reduce downtime.
  • Access Network Expansion & Planning: Lead planning, design, and implementation of network upgrades, including 3G/4G/5G expansion. This includes timely completion of site surveys, determining equipment needs, design approvals and upgrading radio capacity.
  • Power & Infrastructure Expansion: Manage the installation and optimization of power systems (generators, UPS, batteries, solar solutions) at cell sites to ensure high availability, crucial for addressing power outages.   • Relocation Project Management: Managing the end-to-end process of moving network assets (towers, BSS equipment, MW, NodeBs) from one site to another destination with proper alignment with financial books through finance and fixed asset teams.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of network equipment, including active (cards, modules) and passive (cables, power units) assets. Track project inventory, liaison with supply chain-warehousing teams and vendors to efficiently manage projects without delay.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement, installation, and support, ensuring SLA compliance and timely closure of POs and relevant contracts in alignment with network planning and supply-chain stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership & Compliance: Supervise technical teams, conducting performance reviews and training. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

Must have a Bachelors Degree

Work Experience:

Upto 4 years or above of relevant experience
