Key Responsibilities:
Service Ownership & Operational Excellence
- Own the delivery and operations of enterprise Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce platforms, Stripe Commerce integration, including content management Drupal, Salesforce Commerce, Adobe Commerce, web pages and/or related systems similar, ensuring stability, performance, and security in line with defined SLAs and KPIs. · Drive robust IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, including incident management, change control, and root cause analysis tailored to eCommerce operations. · Ensure high availability and seamless performance of global digital storefronts through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and capacity planning. · Oversee application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patch management, security compliance, scalability, and end-of-life transitions for eCommerce platforms. · Coordinate Salesforce activities (deployments, testing, imports, etc.) between internal and external resources to ensure optimal system performance. · Support business requirements documentation to identify, document and implement solutions that meet the changing business requirements. - Business Relationship Management · Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Commercial teams to ensure eCommerce technology aligns with business strategy and customer expectations. · Lead regular engagement sessions with business stakeholders to capture evolving digital commerce needs, align on priorities, and communicate platform roadmaps. · Ensure eCommerce solutions support critical capabilities such as content-driven commerce (Drupal CMS), multilingual catalog management, pricing and promotions, customer segmentation, and order orchestration. · Strengthen the IT–business partnership to drive measurable value through increased conversion, improved CX, and optimized digital sales processes. - Innovation, Automation & Transformation · Identify and lead initiatives to automate content publishing, customer personalization, self-service, and digital checkout experiences. · Champion modern eCommerce technologies through Salesforce Commerce Cloud such as headless architecture (e.g., Drupal front-end with decoupled commerce back-end), progressive web apps (PWA), AI/ML personalization, and intelligent search. · Lead cloud transformation initiatives including migrations to SaaS/PaaS commerce platforms and adoption of MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless). · Integrate eCommerce platforms seamlessly with SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, MDM, and analytics platforms via middleware tools such as Boomi or WebMethods. - Vendor & Partner Management · Manage key technology partners and service providers supporting Drupal, eCommerce engines, content platforms, and system integration.
- Establish structured governance with vendors including performance monitoring, delivery accountability, contract oversight, and roadmap alignment. · Stay current on digital commerce trends, open-source community developments (e.g., Drupal updates), and emerging tools to continuously modernize the eCommerce landscape.
