Manager IT Support

Role Overview

The manager Networking/IT will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s technology strategy while ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of all IT systems across the head office and branch network. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, overseeing hardware and networking operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and cyber security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Implementation

· Design and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

· Plan and manage the integration, upgrading, and alignment of core IT systems.

2. IT Operations & Infrastructure

· Oversee the performance, availability, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

· Ensure the reliability of servers and platforms with proactive performance monitoring and risk mitigation.

· Lead procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management.

3. Governance, Policy & Compliance

· Develop and enforce IT governance policies, procedures, and standards.

· Ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements related to data privacy, cyber security, and IT systems.

4. Information Security & Risk Management

· Design and maintain a comprehensive IT security and risk management framework.

· Establish and implement an Information Security Management Framework (ISMF).

· Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement appropriate safeguards.

· Lead the organization's incident response, including forming an Emergency Response Team and conducting post-incident evaluations.

· Continuously adapt the cyber security strategy in line with emerging threats and technologies.

5. Reporting & Additional Duties

· Provide strategic technology insights and regular reports to senior leadership.

· Undertake special assignments and projects as directed by the functional head or top management.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are preferred.

· Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.

· Strong understanding of cyber security, system integration, and infrastructure management will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
