• Furnace and its overall functioning Glass Industry and general maintenance knowledge.
• 10+ Years of Experience in Melting / Furnace operations.

Your Profile

• Supervision of Furnace Parameters

To supervise temperature of furnace and other parameters and to look after day-to-day Maintenance activity and problem solving. Maintain necessary documents and records and reports related to furnace as per ISO and GMP Requirements.

• Co-ordinate with Other Departments for the production and maintenance activities

To co-ordinate with concern departments to carried out production and maintenance activities of furnace area. Take care for Fiolax amber Glass colour control as per requirement and coordinate with concern department. Glass defect analysis to be done on regular basis.

• Safety Measures

To make sure that safety measures are followed and all required PPE to be used to prevent accident and follow the EHS and ISO Guidelines. Provide Incident report to EHS department and carried our Root cause analyses and prevent accident in furnace area by provide proper training to all furnace team.

• Housekeeping and GMP Requirements

Maintain good housekeeping in the furnace and maintain records of all the activities carried out related to GMP Requirements and fulfil all the requirements to maintain a clean workplace.

• Distribution of Manpower

To Ensure proper manpower is assign for the work and to see that the work get completed in time.

• Drive Cost Saving Projects

Work towards reduce Energy consumption and reduce Glass defects by implementing corrective measure and reduce cost of production.

• Furnace Hot and cold repairs

Ensure all activities carried out properly during furnace hot repairs and during shut down. Maintain all equipment proper way that it work with full efficiency continue. Take initiate for stable process start up after tank repair and Enhance the Tank life through different proactive initiative.

• Implements the EHS directive in his/her area of responsibility. Operates machines in compliance with permissions.
