Job Description

The Ford Agency is seeking a Manager of IT Procurement to join the DC office of a global law firm. This role oversees the acquisition of technology products and services across the firm. It is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of the IT landscape and at least five years of experience in IT procurement or vendor management.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the purchase of hardware, software, and technology services
  • Research vendors and evaluate cost, quality, and reliability
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals in coordination with internal teams
  • Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and track performance
  • Maintain procurement records, invoices, and compliance documentation
  • Use ServiceNow system to process and report on purchases and inventory
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile invoices, manage leases, and support audits
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
  • Prior experience in professional services or law firm environment preferred
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and industry trends
  • Proficiency with procurement platforms, Excel, and data analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
