Job Description

The Ford Agency is seeking a Manager of IT Procurement to join the DC office of a global law firm. This role oversees the acquisition of technology products and services across the firm. It is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong understanding of the IT landscape and at least five years of experience in IT procurement or vendor management.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage the purchase of hardware, software, and technology services
Research vendors and evaluate cost, quality, and reliability
Lead contract negotiations and renewals in coordination with internal teams
Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and track performance
Maintain procurement records, invoices, and compliance documentation
Use ServiceNow system to process and report on purchases and inventory
Partner with Finance to reconcile invoices, manage leases, and support audits

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
Prior experience in professional services or law firm environment preferred
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and industry trends
Proficiency with procurement platforms, Excel, and data analysis tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
