Manager - Onsite Operations

The Ad Operations Manager is responsible for on-site media activation management, with primary focus to drive performance through on-site retail media channels and investment opportunities for UAE priority accounts.


The role holder will also drive development of excellent relationships with relevant client teams, internal cross-functional teams as well as ecommerce commercial/ operation teams to execute & deliver successful media campaigns.


Responsibilities:

Pre-campaign execution

  • Review campaign briefs & media plans
  • Challenge briefs & plans that might not make sense or lack information to achieve goals and objectives
  • Provide feedback on campaign briefs in order to ensure clarity from briefing parties, specifically around campaign objectives and KPIs
  • Foster collaboration with client teams to deliver successful campaign delivery vs. the agreed brief
  • Initiate actions required with required teams to meet approved briefs/ media plans in a timely fashion
  • Speak up on operational challenges foreseen with problem-solving approach
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges

Campaign Management

  • Take ownership of assigned accounts and campaigns
  • End to end responsibility of assigned accounts and campaigns
  • Review creative/ contents, provide feedback to support guideline compliance and share creative suggestion that can contribute to campaign success as early on as possible
  • Post execution checks to ensure quality of campaign set up are upkept
  • Oversee non-delivery & campaign performance troubleshooting
  • Responsible for proof of execution collection
  • Analyze campaign data and develop tactics and strategies to improve conversion performance and efficiencies
  • Create case studies for future selling/ upselling
  • Manage day to day operation tasks and ensure timely response and manage expectation with client team & stakeholders
  • Speak up on campaign challenges with solution-based suggestion
  • Ensure financial accuracy and support reconciliation of spends for assigned accounts & campaigns

Campaign Optimisation

  • Be accountable for insights gathering for pacing & performance analysis
  • Take ownership in validating data to generate actionable insights for optimisation
  • Implement optimisation and monitor performance
  • Collaborate with client team and commercial team to drive required actions i.e prompt responsible team to check & take actions related to product listing, replenishment & promo activation


Minimum experience

  • 8+years of experience in media operations or related field
  • Proven experience in an operations environment, with a track record of driving operational excellence and process improvement.
  • Experience with other 3rd party ad servers is a must
  • Comfort with Microsoft Excel and ability to consolidate information and work with multiple data points
  • Preferably 5+ years in the retail/e-Commerce business or closely related industry
