What Youll Bring

• Education: 2+ years of formal education/training beyond high school OR equivalent management experience (Associate Degree preferred)

• Experience: 3+ years of hospital scheduling experience required | Epic experience required | Management experience preferred

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Computer skills + medical terminology required

  • Project management & analytical skills preferred

  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Cisco & Calabrio experience preferred

  • Strong organizational, communication & team-building skills a must

The Manager of Outpatient Scheduling plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient appointment scheduling, optimizing workflows, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Through ongoing data collection and review, in collaboration with the leadership team, this leader establishes and effectively executes process improvement initiatives that ensure departmental KPIs are met. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to providing high-quality service, and role models exceptional collaboration by being a resource for the Outpatient Scheduling team and all scheduling areas within Lee Health. In addition, this role will work closely with outpatient departments to ensure that schedules are being utilized to their maximum capacities. The manager works closely with the departmental supervisor and team to support continued growth through motivation, encouragement and training opportunities that will ensure a high level of customer service. Additionally, being able to solve and facilitate simple and complex situations that enhance the culture and performance of Outpatient Scheduling.

Requirements

Education: 2 years formal education or training beyond high school or equivalent management experience. Associate Degree preferred.

Experience:Minimum of 3 years of hospital scheduling experience required. Epic experience required. management experience preferred.
