Review and amend the overall bank's outsourcing policy in line with the framework; obtain approvals thereon.

Assist in developing outsourcing policy for international locations in line with the HOK policy.

Review and amend overall bank's outsourcing procedures in line with the framework, and policy and obtain approvals thereon.

  • Assist the Outsourcing head in the implementation of the SBP outsourcing framework within the given timeline through the following:
  • Classifying activities reported by groups into outsourcing or non-outsourcing.
  • Classification of outsourcing into material or non-material; after discussion with initiating function and SSO.
  • Discuss and review risk assessment performed by initiating functions.
  • Perform due diligence of vendors in line with Outsourcing Policy and Procedure.
  • Ensuring written agreements incorporate minimum factors/considerations provided on Framework.

In coordination with initiating function, obtain approvals for existing and prospective outsourcing arrangements. This also includes the preparation of memos along with annexures to obtain senior management and president approval. Board information pack will need to be prepared for material outsourcing approval of Board.

Conduct meetings with initiating function and assess the roles of third-party employees to ensure not engaged in restricted activities or decision-making activities and what safeguards are in place to safeguard customer confidentiality.

Coordinate and liaise with the AML department and vendor management unit and initiating functions to obtain AML concurrence on vendors.

Perform periodic performance reviews of outsourced service providers in coordination with initiating function.

Coordinate with all initiating functions for yearly financial spending for both local and international locations for reporting purposes.

To assess all risks and controls related to Outsourcing Function as part of the IRCR exercise in coordination with the Enterprise Risk Management Department (ERM) and COO office

To review, reconcile and arrange payments to service providers in line with terms of the contract.

Assist Head SSO special projects on need basis.

Visit outsourcing vendors as and when needed.

Maintain good relationships with internal as well as external customers by ensuring timely resolution of queries and comments.

Timely, proactive communication with internal customers.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in relevant field
