Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries within the US team, providing timely and effective support
To support the people partnering model in the US, working alongside managers to support exceptional business outcomes
Ensure all People policies, practices, and procedures reflect our values and are legally compliant in the US
Support employee onboarding and induction to create a seamless and engaging new starter experience, accompanied by relevant learning opportunities
Support the global initiative to create a scalable learning and development plan tied to our career pathways at all levels of the agency
Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and documentation in line with internal standards and legal requirements
Collaborate closely with finance and payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, benefits, and compensation
Support the performance review process, development plans, and internal mobility for US employees
Monitor and report on key people metrics (e.g. headcount, turnover, engagement), providing insight to support strategic decision-making
As a member of the Global People team, support on global HR projects, systems, and processes, ensuring local adaptation where needed
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, consistency, and employee experience
Represent the People team in US meetings and act as a bridge between the US team and the wider global business
Support internal communications and initiatives that build engagement and reinforce our ‘Beyond Performance’ culture
Champion a psychologically safe and inclusive environment, taking proactive steps to address wellbeing and mental health support
In-depth understanding of US federal and state employment laws
Strong knowledge of HR practices, including benefits administration and recruitment
Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and empathy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Significant experience in a generalist HR role, with experience managing employment law, benefits, and employee relations
Proven experience managing recruitment processes end-to-end
Experience working in a fast-paced, creative, or scale-up environment
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) is preferred but not essential
