We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager Procurement to lead our sourcing and acquisition strategies. You will oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, with a specific focus on high-value technical equipment for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Telecom infrastructure, and large-scale motorway projects. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise in international trade (LCs/Imports) with the leadership skills to mentor a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute procurement strategies for local and international sourcing, ensuring cost-optimization for specialized technical components (IoT, sensors, tolling hardware).
- Import & LC Management: Lead the end-to-end Import process, including the opening of Letters of Credit (LCs), managing bank documentation, and optimizing customs clearance strategies to minimize lead times.
- Vendor Management & Negotiation: Identify, vet, and manage relationships with Global OEMs and local vendors. Negotiate high-value contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and credit terms.
- Budgetary Oversight: Manage the annual procurement budget, ensuring all project-based requisitions align with financial forecasts and organizational goals.
- ERP & Process Governance: Oversee the procurement module within the ERP system, ensuring 100% accuracy in PO generation, inventory tracking, and audit-ready documentation.
- Risk Management: Monitor global market trends and geopolitical factors affecting supply chains; develop contingency plans for critical project components.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the procurement team (Executives/Officers), setting KPIs and ensuring professional growth within the department.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Education: Master’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are highly preferred.
- Experience: 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the Telecom, Infrastructure, or Technology sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Mastery of Incoterms, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) import regulations, and complex LC structures.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data-driven reporting using MS Excel.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing international logistics and high-stakes vendor negotiations.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills in English

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs190,000.00 per month
