Procurement Specialist

Role Summary

One Network is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage complex sourcing requirements for our ITS and Telecom infrastructure projects. You will be the point person for technical procurement, responsible for navigating the complexities of international trade, ensuring regulatory compliance, and securing the best value for specialized technology equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Import Management: Independently handle the lifecycle of international procurement, from Proforma Invoice (PI) verification to the opening and retirement of Letters of Credit (LCs).
• Technical Sourcing: Identify and evaluate global OEMs for specialized hardware (ITS, IoT, and Electronic Toll Collection systems), ensuring technical specifications meet project requirements.
• Customs & Compliance: Coordinate with clearing agents to ensure Goods Declarations (GDs) are filed accurately and shipments are cleared through customs without avoidable demurrage.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with vendors on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost-efficiency and project timelines.
• ERP Optimization: Ensure all procurement data, from requisitions to final payments, is accurately logged in the ERP system for real-time tracking and reporting.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policy, international Incoterms, and the regulatory requirements of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical procurement, specifically handling imports and international logistics within the infrastructure or tech sectors.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of Incoterms 2020, LC cycles, and Pakistan’s import/export regulations.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills (data modeling, cost-benefit analysis) and hands-on experience with ERP modules.
• Communication: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and internal technical teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
