What is Manager Product – Liability & Bancassurance - MMBL?

The Product Manager – Liability & Bancassurance is responsible for developing & managing deposit & Bancassurance related products, ensuring competitive pricing & driving product sales performance. The role involves strategic planning, product development, coordination with sales teams & other stakeholders, marketing initiatives & revenue optimization.


What Manager Product – Liability & Bancassurance does - MMBL?

Product Development & Management

  • Develop & enhance liability & Banca products (CASA, Term deposit) based on market research & customer insight.
  • Develop & enhance Bancassurance products (life, health, general insurance) in collaboration with insurance partners.
  • Ensure product offering aligns with business goals & regulatory requirements.
  • Improve customer experience by introducing innovative features and digital banking solutions.
  • Introduce customized insurance solutions tailored to customer segments.
  • Ensure seamless integration of insurance offering with banking products.


Pricing & Budgeting

  • Develop competitive pricing strategies for liability & Banca products to optimize revenue, product profitability and market share.
  • Develop effective product strategies to enhance non-funded income.
  • Monitor interest rate trends & recommend adjustments to maintain a balanced cost of funds.
  • Prepare & maintain annual product budgets, forecasting revenue & deposit growth.


Business Development & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with the sales force & other stakeholders to provide product training, product research, sales strategies and market insights.
  • Monitor product performance in the market and develop key product performance metrics.
  • Develop incentive structure to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Liaise with IT, risk management, finance & operation teams to enhance product delivery.
  • Strive for digital solutions & digital transformation initiatives for liability & Banca product offerings.


Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Collaborate with the marketing team in promoting marketing campaigns for liability and Banca products.
  • Leverage digital channels, branch networks & partnerships for product visibility.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to refine products marketing strategies.
  • Develop incentive structure to drive sales effectiveness.


Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all liability & Banca products comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Assess risk associated with pricing, customer retention & market fluctuations.
  • Develop incentive structure to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Manage risks related to claims handling, mis-selling and customer satisfaction.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Product – Liability & Bancassurance?

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in product development & management.
  • Experience in liability & Bancassurance product development is preferable.
