Manager- Product Planning and Inventory Control

Production Planning:

Assist in the preparation and implementation of production plans based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and material availability for reagents.
Ensure that production schedules align with customer requirements and production capacity while minimizing downtime.

Material Coordination & Procurement:

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and chemicals required for reagent production.
Monitor stock levels of critical raw materials, generate requisitions for material shortages, and ensure there are no disruptions in the production process.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished reagent inventory.

Production Monitoring:

Track production progress on a daily basis to ensure timely completion of reagent batches.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve any issues or delays in the production process and ensure that production targets are met.

Data Management & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records related to production activities, raw material usage, inventory levels, and production outputs.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the PPIC Manager on production performance, material availability, and inventory status.

Quality Control Coordination:

Coordinate with the quality control (QC) team to ensure that reagents undergo necessary testing and inspections before release within the stipulated time.

Supply Chain Coordination:

Work closely with the logistics and warehousing teams to ensure timely delivery of finished reagents to customers.
Monitor the transportation and delivery of reagents, ensuring that products are shipped promptly and without delays.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in production planning, inventory control, and supply chain management to optimize operational efficiency.
Suggest and implement changes to improve production lead times, reduce costs, and minimize waste in reagent production.
