Key Responsibilities

· Develop the Research Department’s work plan on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis, covering activities such as sectoral studies, dashboards, and external assignments.

· Provide strategic direction to ensure all research activities are directly aligned with PACRA’s objectives and long-term vision.

· Lead the Equity Research functions by developing sectoral and company coverage, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, data-driven research.

· Review and approve sectoral reports, economic analyses, thematic studies, dashboards, and proposals for existing and potential external projects to ensure efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.

· Ensure preparation of other key reports, including Event Insights, Budget Commentary, sectoral updates, and dashboards.

· Monitor and analyze industry and macroeconomic trends to keep PACRA’s strategies aligned with the evolving market landscape.

· Lead, mentor, and develop the Research & Insights team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, excellence, and professional growth.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to leverage shared knowledge, enhance research capabilities, and strengthen PACRA’s market positioning.

Requirements:

· BBA, BSc (Economics), CFA, MBA (Finance), ACCA, or CA (Articles completed)

· 5-6 years of experience in financial research, credit ratings, or economic analysis.

· Strong expertise in financial Analysis, valuation techniques, and data interpretation.

· Advanced Excel, financial databases, research tools, and report writing.
