About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a skilled Manager - Retail Buyer to join our Retail team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Develop and implement buying strategies aligned with business goals and market trends
• Lead the retail buying team in product selection, assortment planning, and seasonal buying
• Analize sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to guide purchasing decisions
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers and vendors
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability across all retail locations
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to support product launches and accurate pricing
• Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, margins, and buying effectiveness
• Mentor and develop junior buyers and support staff to enhance team capabilities
  
  

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in retail buying or merchandising, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of retail buying cycles, product lifecycle management, and consumer trends
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in retail merchandising systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
