Manager - Retail Operations

Overview

Join the Apparel Group as a Manager - Retail Operations, leading store performance across our retail network.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by implementing SOPs, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across stores.
• Oversee staffing, training, and team performance while representing the brand through effective leadership and service standards.
• Manage sales and profitability: achieve quantitative KPIs (Units per transaction, Average transaction value, sales per month, sales per square feet, sales turnover, shrinkage control, conversion percentage), set store sales targets, and guide Area Managers and Store Managers to maximize productivity.
• Control operational costs: reduce costs through automation, enforce SOPs, policies, loss prevention audit guidelines.
• Implement visual merchandising guidelines and visual standards across stores.
• Recruit, train, develop staff on sales techniques, customer service, teamwork; conduct annual performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Communicate regularly through regional sales and operations meetings, feedback to managers, and participation in loyalty program.
• Manage stock inventory, promote relationships with GMs, Brand Managers, and Buyers/Planners; monitor slow moving stock.
• Participate in new store design and layout projects, design new store schedule, guide concept architect, and support set up and merchandising phase.
• Enhance brand visibility, provide input for marketing and brand awareness, and handle legal responsibilities related to store management and planning.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in retail operations or business management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing large retail teams and driving sales across multiple store formats.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs, customer experience, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
