Manager Sanitation

Fatima Memorial Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Sanitation to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will ensure that all hospital areas, including offices, wards, and college premises, are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition, aligned with institutional standards.

A. Essential Duties:

• To be responsible for conducting inspection of facilities, recommend upgrades where needed as per the departmental requirement.
• To be responsible for establishing workflows, standard procedures and quality control plans for the smooth function of the housekeeping department.
• To be responsible for the maintenance of inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• To be responsible for evaluating records to forecast department personnel requirements.
• To be responsible for giving recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operations
• Responsible to attend staff meetings to discuss organizational policies and complaints.
• To be responsible for compiling periodical reports for head of department about any query.
• To be responsible for establishing standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
• To be responsible for managing subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• To be responsible for ensuring a Dengue free environment at FMH.
• To be responsible for disposal & record of infectious Waste.
• To be responsible for day to day attendance of Housekeeping staff.

B. Additional Duties

Performing other duties as assigned or directed by the higher management to meet the objectives of the FMS.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Public Health, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in hospital or institutional sanitation/housekeeping management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound knowledge of infection control practices and waste management procedures.
