Role Overview
The Senior Manager – Strategy & Partnerships will play a central role in driving Disrupt’s external strategy and ecosystem engagement agenda. Reporting directly to the Vice President – External Investments, Strategy & Partnerships, this role combines strategic planning, research, documentation, and execution support with ownership of the day-to-day partnerships mandate.
You will act as a connective force between internal teams, external stakeholders, and leadership—helping to identify, structure, and advance partnerships that directly enable Disrupt’s venture building, investment, and ecosystem objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Support & Research

Support the VP in the design and execution of strategic initiatives related to external investments, ecosystem partnerships, and venture strategy.

Conduct market research and landscape analysis across venture capital, AI, and technology ecosystems to inform strategic priorities.

Prepare briefings, presentations, and internal documentation to support leadership decision-making.

Track global ecosystem trends, investor sentiment, and partnership opportunities to proactively inform leadership.
2. Partnerships Management & Execution

Own the day-to-day execution of the partnerships function, ensuring timely progress from concept to completion.

Liaise with internal functions (Disrupt Labs, Investments, GTM, Engineering, and Product) to identify partnership needs and collaboration opportunities.

Source and evaluate partnership prospects across venture funds, corporates, Govt orgs, accelerators, technology platforms, and strategic service providers aligned with Disrupt’s goals.

Coordinate all partnership lifecycle activities—initial outreach, meeting preparation, documentation, follow-ups, MoU/contract coordination, and performance tracking.

Engage relevant cross-functional leaders and subject-matter experts into discussions to ensure partnership outcomes are operationally supported and successfully executed.
3. Planning, Reporting & Communication

Support the VP in developing quarterly and annual partnership plans, including target lists, milestones, and KPIs.

Maintain partnership pipelines, dashboards, and internal documentation for visibility across teams.

Draft internal and external communications related to partnership announcements, collaborations, or joint initiatives.

Support post-partnership reviews to capture learnings, assess performance, and institutionalize best practices.

High degree of initiative, follow-through, and ownership.

Experience with data analysis tools and CRM software, such as Salesforce.

Familiarity with strategic planning frameworks and methodologies.

Knowledge of industry-specific technologies and trends.

Ability to leverage digital tools for market research and competitive analysis.

Understanding of financial modeling and budgeting processes.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

5–10 years of relevant experience in strategy, business development/partnerships, venture capital, consulting, or corporate development.

Prior exposure to business development, partnerships, ecosystems, startup partnerships, or innovation environments preferred.

Proven track record of successfully developing and executing strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
