Manager/Deputy Manager - Resource Mobilization

The Teach the World Foundation (TTWF) utilizes scalable, technology-driven learning models to provide functional literacy to children who are out of school. The Resource Mobilization Manager will lead TTWF’s fundraising and partnership development efforts by designing and executing strategies that expand funding support, strengthen donor relationships, and enhance TTWF’s visibility as a global EdTech innovator.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with TTWF’s mission.
  • Identify and engage corporate, institutional, and individual donors to build a diversified funding pipeline.
  • Lead proposal development and grant submissions for national and international donors.
  • Manage annual fundraising initiatives, digital campaigns, and CSR partnerships.

2. Donor Relations & Stewardship

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key donors and partners.
  • Deliver timely acknowledgments, impact updates, and high-quality donor reports.
  • Organize donor engagement activities, including briefings, events, and field visits.

3. Marketing & Communications

  • Create compelling impact stories, reports, and fundraising collateral that highlight TTWF’s work.
  • Work with Marketing & Communications to strengthen TTWF’s digital presence for donor engagement.
  • Ensure consistent storytelling, branding, and visibility across fundraising materials.

4. Financial & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure fundraising activities comply with TTWF policies and donor requirements.
  • Coordinate with Finance to track donations, monitor fund use, and maintain transparent reporting.
  • Ensure management and updating of the donor database.

5. Internal Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work cross-functionally with Program, Finance, and Communications teams to meet fundraising targets.
  • Collaborate with leadership on donor engagement and strategic fundraising priorities.
  • Mentor associates and/or interns in the resource mobilization team.

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Fundraising, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, CSR, or grant writing.
  • Strong proposal writing, donor stewardship, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with corporate donors, foundations, and institutional funders.
  • Excellent communication and impact storytelling abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital fundraising and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and cross-team collaboration skills.
