Mezan Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional for the position of Deputy Manager – Imports. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth import operations, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain coordination to support our growing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import processes including documentation, shipment tracking, and clearance.
- Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, finance, and supply chain) for seamless operations.
- Monitor shipment costs and optimize freight and clearance expenses.
- Handle import documentation including LCs, invoices, packing lists, and regulatory approvals.
- Stay updated with changes in import policies, duties, and tariffs.
- Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and operational challenges proactively.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in import operations, preferably in FMCG or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
