Deputy Manager Import

Mezan Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional for the position of Deputy Manager – Imports. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth import operations, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain coordination to support our growing business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end import processes including documentation, shipment tracking, and clearance.
  • Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, finance, and supply chain) for seamless operations.
  • Monitor shipment costs and optimize freight and clearance expenses.
  • Handle import documentation including LCs, invoices, packing lists, and regulatory approvals.
  • Stay updated with changes in import policies, duties, and tariffs.
  • Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and operational challenges proactively.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in import operations, preferably in FMCG or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
