Managing Director

FMC HR is looking for a Managing Director for the Turkish subsidiary of our international client, a leading manufacturer of components and systems for water treatment and water disinfection. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the position will lead sales and business development in Türkiye and some neighboring countries with P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall results and accountability for the P&L and balance sheet
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and optimize cost structures
• Market and competitor analysis, find new business opportunities
• Build a higher performing pro-active sales and marketing team
• Build upon the existing company strategy and communicate it to the team across the countries
• Be the face of the company for major customers, suppliers and the HQ

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus
• Experience in leading a sales organisation in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar sector with P&L responsibility
• Fluency in Turkish and English is a must
• Well-developed business development / sales / marketing skills; an opportunity seeker and deal maker
• Strong leadership qualities, able to inspire others and build trust
• Strong change management capability
• Financially astute, understands the financial ramifications of actions
• Residing in Istanbul
