Managing Editor/Content Strategist

MSPC is hiring a full-time content strategist whose primary function will be as managing editor of a monthly banking print magazine. The managing editor, who has 3+ years of writing and editing experience in a publishing and/or content agency setting, supports the editor in all aspects of editorial production, including:

• Ideation
• Assigning articles to writers
• Editing submitted copy
• Writing
• Overseeing the fact-checking and proofreading processes
• Client communication and presentations
• Preparing copy for website uploading
• Working with the art team as needed

The ideal candidate will be:

• A strong editor and writer
• Familiar with InDesign (copy functions only)
• Personable and able to work with internal and client teams
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Familiar with SEO best practices
• Interested in or with experience in financial services
• Open to supporting on other agency projects

Starting salary between $53,000 - $56,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
