Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Managing Partner to lead our team of professional movers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the moving service or transportation industry, with expertise in hiring, training, and managing employees. As a Managing Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving profitability through effective management practices. Responsibilities
- Supervise and dispatch move teams daily, coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments.
- Oversee all workers’ compensation and unemployment claims.
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training.
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
- Responsible for employee development, accountability, and corrective action programs.
- Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours.
- Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of business, management, or other relevant experience is required; TWO MEN AND A TRUCK or moving industry experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or another related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate, take initiative, develop, and direct people, and be accountable.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens.
- Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Strong decision-making ability.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
