Managing Partner

Summary

The Managing Partner is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and performance of the firm. They oversee daily operations, drive growth and profitability, manage key client and partner relationships, and ensure the business meets its financial and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the firm’s long‑term vision, strategy, and annual business plans.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Lead financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and profitability improvement.
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key clients, investors, and strategic partners.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including new service lines, markets, and strategic alliances.
  • Lead and mentor the leadership team and senior managers; promote a high‑performance, accountable culture.
  • Collaborate with partners on major decisions, firm governance, and partner performance expectations.
  • Set and review firm‑wide policies, procedures, and standards of professional conduct.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and with media or public stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record (typically 10+ years) in senior leadership roles, ideally within a partnership or professional services environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L responsibility and experience driving profitable growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Experience managing and developing senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.

Reporting Line

  • Reports to: Board of Partners / Executive Committee.
  • Direct reports: Heads of Departments / Practice Leaders / Senior Managers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Contract, Internship, New grad
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: QAR100.00 - QAR400.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
