Full-Time Governess / Nanny (High-Energy Household)

Location: Austin, TX (Open to candidates willing to relocate)

Schedule:

2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Rotation

Live-in during working weeks preferred (housing can be discussed based on fit)

Position Overview

A private family is seeking a capable, energetic, and structured Governess/Nanny to help care for and guide three

active young boys (ages 1, 3, and 5). The household is dynamic and high-energy, so the ideal candidate is confident

managing multiple children while maintaining structure, safety, and engagement throughout the day.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys active play, structured routines, and supporting early childhood

development in a professional home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, well-being, and daily care of three young children

• Maintain consistent routines including meals, naps, hygiene, and bedtime preparation

• Lead active play, outdoor activities, and physically engaging games

• Support early learning through reading, structured play, and developmental activities

• Encourage positive behavior, independence, and social development

• Maintain organization of children’s spaces including toys, clothing, and play areas

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding schedules, milestones, and daily updates

• Adapt to the rhythm of an active household and collaborate closely with parents

Ideal Candidate

• Athletic, energetic, and comfortable managing high-energy young children

• Background in sports, military service, fitness training, or similarly structured environments strongly

preferred

• Patient, confident, and able to manage multiple children simultaneously

• Organized, reliable, and professional in a private household setting

• Able to maintain structure while still being warm, engaging, and playful with children

Compensation

$150,000 – $200,000+ per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
