Manufacturing Engineer

Position Title: Manufacturing / Process Engineer

Position summary:

Develop & improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods for precision aerospace manufacturing facility

Tasks:

  • Perform engineering tasks regarding methods, processes and standards
  • Develop measurement methods for inspection of products
  • Review data to improve labor and equipment productivity
  • Provide technical support for all manufacturing and continuous improvement programs
  • Release job packets to the production floor
  • Work in a team environment
  • All other tasks as assigned

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Problem solving – Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and implement solutions
  • Strong computer skills. MS Office & solid modeling CAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering/Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Aerospace knowledge is preferred.
  • Due to export restrictions this position is limited to those with US citizenship
