Tooling Engineer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for improving and developing the tooling designs to facilitate methods and means of production The role entails solving problems, optimizing the performance of the production tools and jigs and thus saving time and cost

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design multi model welding jigs and roofs frames
• Design mechanisms and fixtures required for the welding production line
• Handle and loading equipment, gantry crane, jig crane, worker stands, frame stands and jigs stands
• Design 3D templates required to revise the frames while production process
• Revise engineering drawings and report all feedbacks
• Simulate stresses and loading, weights calculating
• Provide any technical support required in the production process, sheet metal folding and unfolding using solid works and engineering software’s
• Carry out additional tasks as required by the job and as directed by line managementMain KPI Key Performance indicators:

Job Skills and Abilities:

• Good English language
• Very good computer skills especially in Auto CAD design, and Solid Works
• Awareness of different design programs
• Experience in Design, repair, analysis of electronic systems
• Have Exposure to Systems engineering design principles
• SAP Awareness will be an asset
• Self motivated, Decision maker, and accurate
• Very good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• High negotiation skills

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor degree of Engineering preferable production
• 0-3 Years of Experience
• Good technical background,
