Job Description
Responsibilities:
-
Coordinates improvement of manufacturing processes in the plant
studying products and manufacturing methods.
-
Drive continuous improvement in conversion cost as measured by
company KPIs.
-
Improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency by analyzing use
of work force, Space requirement and layout across operations in the
plant.
-
Develops and leads manufacturing engineering activities to improve
the use of machinery (OEE) and reducing cycle time.
-
Reference for central Manufacturing engineering activities
concerning new product introduction, confirming new
manufacturing processes and supporting their implementation.
-
Reference for central Manufacturing engineering activities
concerning new technology’s introduction.
-
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and
repair services, following and established procedures and focusing
on cost reduction.
-
Confers with plant management and central ME regarding
Manufacturing Capabilities, Production Plans And Other
considerations to facilitate production process.
-
Participates to central ME initiatives.
-
Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and
summarizing information and trends.
-
Keeps updates internal manufacturing process database and
production capacity data. Update site specifications documents and
plant layout
-
Support plant activities to reach the Quality targets.
-
Develops plant operation budgets and Capex plans in cooperation
with Central ME.
-
Drive local plans to reduce energy and water consumption, also by
introducing new company standard.

In charge of plant infrastructures and facilities projects (Fire
Protection, Safety, property protection and security).
-
Actively contributes to the professional growth of plant
manufacturing engineering team.
Areas of authority:
-
Approves vacations, allowances, and penalties inside his/her
Operations.

Nominates high performing employees for rewards (Suggest & Win,
Quarterly Excellence awards, etc
-
Evaluation and rating of subordinates (Performance management
process)
-
Deciding salary increase in alignment with performance level and
company’s salary structure.
-
Approving Budget of Department.
-
Supervision of: Process Engineers, Maintenance Manager, Dies &
Tools maintenance engineers, Automation Expert.

Functional relationships with: Production, EMS, HR, Supply Chain,
warehouse, Quality

External Relationships: Suppliers
Education, Skills, Experience required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
-
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Engineering MGT.
-
Project Management Skill is Required.
-
Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills in English.
-
Ability to Apply Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
-
Auto CAD, MS Project & MS Office Tools.
