Lead the daily operations of the Gas Turbines Repair Cell at the Jebel Ali Service Center to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and high-quality execution. This role oversees production planning, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence within the service shop. While primarily execution focused, the role has autonomy in decision-making and plays a critical part in driving continuous improvement and team development covered by standard functional practices and procedures with guidance.

Own and deliver on fulfillment metrics (SQDCC) through effective leadership of the cell’s daily operations.

Lead a cross-functional team of operations leaders, method & quality engineers.

Lead the cell's expansion and transformation roadmap.

Onboard, and develop talent by providing clear direction, coaching, and continuous leadership to ensure team capability, engagement, and alignment with business goals.

Mentor and coach teams on Lean principles, problem solving, and continuous improvement culture.

Maintain and optimize cell capacity, manpower planning, and scheduling to meet customer demands.

Own and drive the cell roadmap, in alignment with the Plant Leader.

Govern variable cost expenditure to ensure financial metrics are met and follow business objectives.

Partner to deliver the yearly budget planning and preparation for the plant’s roadmap.

Manage customers’ relationships and technical queries in partnership with engineering, services and project management teams.

Facilitate and lead Kaizen events focused on cost-out, lead time reduction, safety, and process flow improvements.

Lead daily management system (DMS) implementation across functions and monitor adherence and effectiveness.

Support NPI and CAPEX planning related to the gas capitals cell.

Maintain CI ideas pipeline, track progress, and report savings (PCO, CoPQ reduction, etc.).

Act as the interface with the fulfilment & materials team to ensure the cell’s production loading and material availability are meeting customer requirements.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications);

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant qualifications.

Minimum 5 years of experience in gas turbine repairs or manufacturing operations.

Proven experience managing frontline teams and delivering on operational KPIs.

Strong command of Lean tools (Kaizen, DMS, VSM, standard work, etc.) with a track record of implementation.

Strong collaboration and communication skills across functions and levels.

Strong problem-solving skills.
