Manufacturing Process Engineer (HVAC/R)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer specializing in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving process innovation, improving production efficiency, and ensuring the seamless introduction of new products. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a proven track record in process optimization within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Product Introduction (NPI):

• Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) assessments.
• Manage trial production issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Support capacity ramp-up for new products.

1. Technical & Process Innovation:

• Lead technical reviews for product-related processes.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and technological innovations.

1. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Improvement:

• Evaluate and lead the implementation of projects aimed at reducing costs and enhancing production efficiency.
• Develop and execute actionable plans to achieve operational excellence.

1. Customer & Product Audits:

• Participate in customer-led new product audits.
• Address and resolve audit findings effectively.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Refrigeration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role, preferably in the HVAC/R industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturing processes.
4. Demonstrated success in leading and implementing process improvement projects.
