Marble & Stone Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Marble Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, polishing, repairing, and installing marble and other natural/engineered stones for various applications, including flooring, countertops, walls, and decorative features.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and shape marble, granite, and other stones using hand tools, power tools, and machines.

Polish, grind, and finish marble surfaces to achieve required quality and appearance.

Install marble tiles, slabs, and countertops with precision and alignment.

Repair chips, cracks, and damages on marble surfaces.

Apply sealing, waxing, and finishing products to protect marble.

Inspect completed work for quality standards.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain tools and equipment.

Collaborate with contractors, designers, and project managers to ensure proper execution of work.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Marble Technician / Stone Polisher / Marble Installer.

Knowledge of different types of marble, granite, and stone finishing techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.

Skilled in using cutting, polishing, and finishing equipment.

Attention to detail and strong craftsmanship skills.

Physical stamina to lift and handle heavy materials.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in both residential and commercial projects.

Knowledge of adhesives, sealants, and installation materials.
