MARINE COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Marine compliance officer


    RESPONSABILITIES: Ensure the Implementation of all the National & International rules and regu l ations (IACS & IMO) on board NMDC MARINE Fleet Vessels.
    Inspect Vessels' certificates and ensure all are correctly formatted and up to date.
    Ensure NMDC Marine Fleet Vesse l s are inspected as per Clients Specific requiremen t s (e.g: AONOC Marine/ ARAMCO Marine regulations/ standards)
    Perform Pre-inspection act i vities to NMDC Marine Fleet based on Client's Code of Standard (e . g: ADNOC and/or ARAMCO) to ensure that marine units engaged on projects meet all contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
    Ensure that timely r ead i ness of vessels are engaged on pro j ects from a compliance stand po i nt .
    Attend all client inspections on - board the Marine vessels and create good working rapport with the client inspectors
    Conduct Root cause analysis and recommend the relevant Corrective & Preventive Actions needed to close raised findings/observations from the inspections/audits, to avoid recurrence.
    Ensures Vessel's equipment is compliant with latest rules and regulations
    Ensure the marine Fleet certificates are updated in timely manner in order to be ready for operation at all times.
    Advise, monitor, supervise and building a continuous communication channels with the all Masters & Chief Engineers of our Mar i ne units with regarding to the readiness of the Marine vessels.
    Prepare and revise the sh i ps requisitions (Safety Equipment's & Publications) and following up the de li very status
    Revise & check stores r elated to Sa f ety Equipment's & Pub l ications ordered by the ships & confirm that it meets the latest Regulatory requirements.
    Maintain idea l & professional relationshipwith all the harbour Masters, port officers, clients, Ma r ine Managers, Audit & Vetting inspectors to run our operations as smooth as possib l e
  • Upgrade & improve the safety standard of our fleet by keeping a continuous monitoring of the fleet readiness through a planned & random inspections & revising oftheir documents & certificates .

  • QUALIFICATIONS: Holds a valid c e rt ificate of Compe t ency issued as Marine officer in accordance with STCW2010 convention (Regulation 111/2, 111/3 or 11/3) & as amended with Basic & advanced STCW training certific;ites as per STCW 2010 requirements .
