Marine Electrical Engineer

Role Purpose:
The field application engineer offers innovative engineering solutions while serving as support system for the sales, purchasing, service, and marketing teams by handling the technical aspects of our product range. Provide hands-on technical assistance in programming, troubleshooting, and preparing comprehensive proposals with all supporting calculations and drawings to ensure the customer have a hassle-free experience, thereby positively contributing to the organizational goals.

Key accountabilities:
1. Develop in-depth knowledge of electrical products, staying updated with new features and updates to make effective sales pitches.
2. Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications through research and design.
3. Responsible for design and integration jobs related to our electrical product range.

4. Serve as the bridge and be the trusted technical advisor & solution provider on the company's electrical product range for our internal and external customers and find the best product and service solutions.
5. Provide on-site and remote technical support, including product installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
6. Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly by collaborating with internal teams and OEMs.
7. Manage and coordinate technical projects with boat yards and service technicians, ensuring successful installation, programming, implementation & commissioning to the customers satisfaction.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide effective engineering solutions by proactive and solution-focused mindset.
9. Create and maintain technical documentation, such as installation guides and troubleshooting procedures.
10. Competitors study and technical comparison.
11. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.
12. Gather customer feedback for product improvements and enhancements.

Secondary duties:
1. Research and identify various technologically advanced solutions for marine/boating industry that could be part of EE portfolio & getting trained on Exalto Emirates equipment range with an objective to enhance product knowledge and acquire new technologies.

Other responsibilities:

1. Assisting internal customers in preparation of drawings and advising suitable products for various events that EE participates.

Qualification:

2+ years of experience in Boat building/Marine service provider/Boat repair/Naval experience
Hands on experience in AutoCAD software

Bachelor's/ Master's in Electrical Engineering

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
