Job Objective
To manage ship repair and dry-docking projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The role requires hands-on expertise in ship repair, maintenance, and dry-docking procedures, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with classification and regulatory requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise ship repair and dry-docking projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Coordinate with shipyards, contractors, classification societies, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Oversee repair activities, including mechanical, structural, electrical, and systems-related works for commercial vessels, naval ships, and yachts.

Ensure compliance with dry-docking procedures, class surveys, and regulatory standards.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hull, machinery, electrical, and auxiliary systems.

Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project objectives.

Prepare and maintain project documentation including repair reports, completion certificates, and client communication.

Ensure all safety, compliance, and operational efficiency standards are adhered to in every project.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.

Minimum 6 years’ experience in Ship Repair and Dry-docking Project Management.

Proven background in ship repair maintenance across different shipyards.

Proficient in budgeting, planning, and execution of dry-docking and afloat repairs.

Strong knowledge of class survey requirements, repair techniques, and marine engineering practices.

Computer literate with good MS Office and project management tools.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).
