Job Objective

To manage ship repair and dry-docking projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The role requires hands-on expertise in ship repair, maintenance, and dry-docking procedures, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with classification and regulatory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ship repair and dry-docking projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with shipyards, contractors, classification societies, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee repair activities, including mechanical, structural, electrical, and systems-related works for commercial vessels, naval ships, and yachts.
• Ensure compliance with dry-docking procedures, class surveys, and regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hull, machinery, electrical, and auxiliary systems.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including repair reports, completion certificates, and client communication.
• Ensure all safety, compliance, and operational efficiency standards are adhered to in every project.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Ship Repair and Dry-docking Project Management.
• Proven background in ship repair maintenance across different shipyards.
• Proficient in budgeting, planning, and execution of dry-docking and afloat repairs.
• Strong knowledge of class survey requirements, repair techniques, and marine engineering practices.
• Computer literate with good MS Office and project management tools.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
