Surveying & Setting Out
- Perform land and hydrographic surveys for marine construction projects
- Carry out setting-out of works such as piles, quay walls, revetments, and marine structures
- Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project drawings and specifications
Data Collection & Analysis
- Use total stations, GPS, DGPS, and echo sounders to gather survey data
- Process and analyze survey data using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, and as-built documentation
- Verify quantities for progress measurement and billing
Marine Operations Support
- Assist in dredging operations and monitor seabed levels
- Support marine piling, reclamation, and offshore activities
- Work on survey vessels and coordinate marine positioning systems
Quality & Accuracy
- Ensure high accuracy of survey measurements and records
- Conduct regular checks and calibrations of survey equipment
- Monitor deviations and report discrepancies to engineers
Coordination
- Coordinate with project engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors
- Provide technical guidance to site teams regarding surveying matters
- Liaise with consultants and clients for survey approvals
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
Experience
- 3–10 years of experience in marine civil construction projects
- Experience in ports, harbors, dredging, or offshore projects preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in survey equipment (Total Station, GPS, DGPS, Auto Level)
- Knowledge of hydrographic surveying tools
- Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, survey data processing software

Working Conditions
- Site-based role, often in coastal or offshore environments
- May require work on barges, survey boats, or remote project locations

Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- Hydrographic Survey Certification
- Valid Offshore/Marine Safety Training (e.g., STCW, BOSIET)
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per hour
