Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC is hiring a Marine Technical Superintendent to oversee the operational performance and maintenance of our marine fleet. In this vital role, you will ensure adherence to safety standards, manage technical projects, and provide expert guidance to improve vessel efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of vessels including maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards

Act as a liaison between the technical department and the ship crew, providing support and guidance as necessary

Coordinate and supervise major repairs, dry-dockings, and technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

Conduct regular audits of marine systems and maintenance practices to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards

Develop and implement maintenance plans based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Monitor technical performance of vessels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and regulatory compliance

Provide training and support to crew members on technical procedures and best practices

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine operations or technical management
Strong knowledge of marine systems, safety regulations, and industry standards
Proven experience in overseeing maintenance and repair operations
Proven experience with DP2 vessels is an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel for site visits and vessel audits
Experience with PMS (Preventive Maintenance Systems) implementation and compliance is preferred.
