Marine Technical Superintendent

• Plan and manage all scheduled maintenance, including dry-docking and repairs, within budget and timeline.
• Conduct regular maintenance and safety inspections of the vessel's machinery and systems.
• Respond to equipment failures and initiate repairs.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Monitor vessel performance and implement technical and operational improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure the vessel complies with all statutory laws, international regulations (e.g., IMO conventions), and classification society requirements.
• Handle and maintain records for audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
• Investigate marine incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crew to promote safety and operational excellence.
• Train and develop the vessel's engineers on safety and operational procedures.
