Position Overview

PalmPay Pakistan is seeking a results-driven Market Operations Specialist to support and optimize the sales and operational performance of our mobile installment and consumer finance business . This role will focus on localized market operations, marketing execution, and data-driven optimization to drive scalable growth while ensuring strong customer experience and regulatory compliance in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

Market Insight & Strategy Support

  • Develop deep understanding of the Pakistan consumer finance, EMI, and mobile installment market, including competitor landscape and channel dynamics
  • Support the development and execution of localized marketing and business operation strategies aligned with PalmPay’s growth objectives

Marketing Campaign Execution

  • Collaborate with the design and branding teams to create and execute integrated online and offline marketing campaigns, ensuring effective market penetration
  • Support execution of promotional activities across digital platforms, retail stores, and partner channels

Sales & Customer Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with local sales, merchant, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operational execution and consistent customer experience
  • Provide operational support to frontline teams for campaign rollout, product messaging, and process adherence

Product Localization & Acceptance

  • Participate in local acceptance testing and validation of business-related product features to ensure suitability for Pakistan’s market, retail scenarios, and user behavior
  • Collect market feedback and collaborate with product and technology teams for continuous optimization

Data Monitoring & Performance Optimization

  • Build and maintain marketing and operations performance dashboards
  • Regularly analyze key business indicators such as:
  • Conversion rate
  • User acquisition efficiency
  • Delinquency rate
  • User retention and lifecycle metrics
  • Translate data insights into actionable improvements to enhance operational efficiency and sales performance

Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize operational processes and improve service delivery
  • Ensure all marketing and operational activities comply with local laws, SBP/SECP guidelines, and internal compliance requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline

Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing operations, business operations, or consumer finance, preferably within:
    • Fintech
    • EMI / mobile phone installment business
    • Consumer electronics financing
    • Digital lending or payments
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and retail/channel partners is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Pakistan’s EMI, mobile phone, and consumer finance ecosystem
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment

Language

  • Proficiency in English and Urdu
  • Chinese language skills are a plus
